There is a saying, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Over the past few days, I drove past this one house that had a rather grubby looking desk. I stopped over and looked at the structure of the desk and thought it was structurally sound and had a lot of potential.
I knew this desk had possibilities. All it needed was sanding and coating.
On the third day of driving past the place I finally mustered the courage to pick up the desk (as no one else was) and took it home.
The wood seemed solid.
I cleaned, sanded the desk down and used an existing spray paint to spray paint it down. I used silver as the paint for the drawers to give it a more ahh factor.
As you can see from the pictures, it looks so cute.
These desks brand new start from around 230 dollars and up. I spent about 9 dollar on the paint!
You can’t beat that.
