What is Financial Freedom?

This post is a lot different than what I have been posting on this site. As of late, I have been interested in learning more about financial freedom and what that means.

There are oh so many videos out there that have achieved financial freedom aka early retirement at a young age. After reading and watching videos and articles on the topic, there is no secret to financial freedom, but common sense.

SAVINGS! SAVINGS! SAVINGS!

It’s all about the savings and what you can save at the end of the day.

With the rate of income not rising as much as in the past, one of the critical ways to keep your head above water is to save.

If you end up saving 75 % of your income you could end up inching towards financial freedom in 7.11 years.

Thats an amazing statistic.

There are other variables that you have to consider like investing in a diversified portfolio that results in dividend payments, not being in debt etc.

Are you anyone of you moving towards financial freedom? If yes, I would like to hear from you.

  1. Yep 😉 I transformed myself to some kind of a minimalist the last two years. Plus you have to learn a lot about investing your money the right way. It’s kind of like a game 😉

  2. Our family just decided to “aggressively pursue” the path towards financial freedom. We’ve been using the Dave Ramsey method by attacking our debt and attempting to follow a budget, to tell our money where to go. Like you, I’ve been on the hunt for all the great information I can find and have been consuming books like. “The Total Money Makeover,” or “You are a Financial Badass.” Lots of great information out there.
