Healthy Moong Dal and Peas Cutlets

I experimented with this recipe this weekend. This is a healthy recipe for kids. It is nutritious and is delicious. Moong Dal is available in any Indian Store.

Ingredients:

1 cup Moong Dal – Sprouted for 2 days and then boiled for 1/2 an hour in water.

1 tspn – Kosher Salt

1/2 tbspn Peas – Boiled

Garam Masala – 1/2 tspn (available at the Indian Stores)

1 egg beaten

1 tspn gram flour

1 tspn powdered parmesan cheese

1 tbsn Parsley leaves.

1 tbspn – Coconut Oll

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together and blend all of it is a blender. The consistency should not be like liquid. You should see a few cinks of moong, peas and parsley still, almost like a dough.

Warm up a non stick pan with coconut oil

Make small round shapes and flatten the balls

Place the flattened balls on the pan

Cook until both sides are golden brown.

Serve with chutney
